Debbie Lindahl
Assistant Director
Debbie is the assistant director and a toddler teacher at A Little Folks School House. She is married with a 13 year old son who attended Little Folks for 12 years. She’s worked as a teacher, director and summer camp coordinator and worked with children from toddlers to fifth grade. She has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a background in sign language. She also works with the Visiting Angels organization and has been a foster parent.

Melissa Bilodeau
Toddler Teacher
Melissa graduated with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Colby-Sawyer College. Over the years, she has worked in both large and small centers around the Manchester area and taught children from age one to five. For several years she has worked with toddlers and has come to realize that this is the age group she loves. She and her husband are very happy with the care and love their one year old receives daily at Little Folks.

Priscille Richard
Preschool Teacher
Priscille is a preschool teacher and would not want to do anything else. She has two grown children and four grandchildren. She’s had the pleasure of watching her grandchildren grow and attend Little Folks. She’s our opening teacher and enjoys greeting each child as they arrive each morning!

Kristin Post
Preschool Teacher
Kristin is originally from Massachusetts and has lived in New Hampshire for the last 8 years. She’s working towards her associate degree in Early Childhood Education and was a member of the U.S. Army. She’s been married for 5 years and has a two year old son who attends Little Folks. In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking and photography.

Cathy Germino
Pre-K Teacher
Cathy graduated from Keene State College with a bachelor’s degree in Education. She began her teaching career in Weare, NH as a first grade teacher. After her three children, twin daughters and a son, attended Little Folks when they were young, she joined as a pre-kindergarten teacher. She also has four grandsons. She truly enjoys planning and engaging in open-ended activities each day with her class.

Mary Martel
Pre-K Teacher
Originally from Maine, Mary moved to New Hampshire when she was eleven years old. She’s one of our pre-kindergarten teachers and has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. She is the oldest of six children and enjoys spending time with her many nieces and nephews.

Kristine Dionne
Kindergarten Teacher
Kristine is a kindergarten teacher and works with the before and after school program/summer camp. She’s engaged to be married this year. She has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and has many years experience working with kindergarteners. Her passion is teaching and getting very creative and messy!

Kathy Cotter
Assistant Director
Kathy graduated from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After the birth of her children, she became a licensed home day care provider and over the years has taught preschool and pre-kindergarten, additionally serving as a director.
Her commitment to the education of children has led her to support local early childhood educators through the eeECE (educating for excellence through Early Childhood Educators), a nonprofit organization providing workshops to professionals in the field of early childhood education. Kathy is the current secretary of organization.
She and her husband Jim live in Londonderry with their three sons and keep busy with many sporting activities.

Ruth Bourassa
Infant Teacher
A Manchester native, Ruth graduated from Hesser College with a degree in Early Childhood Development. For many years, she ran an in-home daycare center. She and her husband have been married for 32 years and have three wonderful children, twin boys that are 25 and a daughter who is 30. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.

Heather Desfosses
Infant teacher
Heather moved to Manchester in May of 2009 and has truly taken to the area. She lives with her son Logan and boyfriend Brendon. She’s worked in early childhood development with children age 6 weeks to 5 years and has a strong passion for it. She graduated from NHTI in Concord with a degree in Early Childhood Education. In her free time, she enjoys camping, photography, art and music.

Christine Frink
Preschool Teacher
Christine grew up in Manchester attending Memorial High and Manchester Community College. She enjoys working with children and teaching preschool – her career dream. In her free time, she likes playing computer games, music, and spending time with nieces and nephews.

Nikki Charland
Preschool Teacher
Nikki grew up in Derry and just recently moved to Manchester. She lives with her boyfriend Shawn and her boxer puppy Achilles. She completed her Lead Teacher Certificate at Hesser College and worked for Little Sprouts in Andover, Massachusetts for 3 years. She then went on to receive her Licensed Practical Nurse degree/license and worked at Warde Health Center in Windham, New Hampshire. Her passion for children quickly drove her right back to the early childhood education field. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and puppy as well as traveling.

Ashley Roy
Pre-K Teacher
Ashley currently attends Granite State College finishing her degree in early childhood education. She’s worked as a nanny and coordinated preschool parties at Snip-it prior to joining the team. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking and photography.

Melanie Mooreside
Melanie is currently finishing up her degree in Early Childhood at Hesser College in Manchester. She has previously had long term nanny positions, organized and directed vacation bible school programs, harvest parties, taught Sunday school, and has experience working with children with severe mental disorders.
Melanie is happily married and has three very busy teenage daughters and a variety of pets. During her free time, Melanie enjoys scrapbooking, reading, working with computers, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family.

Justine Berry
Justine is a recent graduate from Plymouth State University, graduating with a BS in Early Childhood Studies and with a minor in Literature. Before coming to A Little Folks School House, Justine worked at the university’s center mostly in their toddler program. In her free timed Justine enjoys reading, music, and playing with her two puppies.
